Opsy helps operators of B2B inquiry-led Shopify stores prepare product content, work on blog articles and interpret supplied local data. A useful first task has a small scope: one product, one article question or one reporting period. Give it reliable inputs, ask for a result you can inspect, and decide separately whether any proposed store change should proceed.

Opsy runs as a Skill inside a supported agent host. The Skill supplies reusable working methods; your customer project contains your business facts, materials, data and previous results. Installing the Skill does not, by itself, tell the agent what your company can supply or which store action you have approved.

Which task should you choose first?

Choose the task whose inputs you can explain today. If your product information is incomplete, a missing-information list can be a useful deliverable. If you have no suitable data package, asking for a performance diagnosis will not create the missing evidence.

Getting Started with Opsy: Choose Your First Task — four-step workflow.
A four-step workflow for this task.

What should you prepare before asking?

Start with a business question rather than a request to improve everything. For a product task, identify the exact item and supply the current specification sheet, approved commercial information and matching images. For a blog task, explain the reader's question and provide the facts that can answer it. For data analysis, identify the package, reporting period and known gaps.

Here is a fictional example used only to demonstrate task scope. A packaging-equipment company wants buyers to know what to submit for a sample assessment. Its reviewer has confirmed that bag type, bag material and dimensions are required. Equipment speed and compatibility are still unknown. The content task can explain the confirmed preparation requirements; it cannot turn the missing specifications into product claims.

How can you phrase the first request?

Use $opsy to inspect this project and help me prepare one product-content task. The buyer needs to know what information to provide for a sample assessment. Read the supplied product sheet and approved notes, separate confirmed facts from gaps, and show the proposed content and remaining questions. Tell me which result I will be able to inspect before any store write.

Replace the example with your own task and materials. If the project is not connected or its business profile is incomplete, follow the specific preparation steps it reports. You do not need to invent technical configuration values to make the status look complete.

What does a completed task mean?

A local content package, a saved Shopify draft and a published page are different results. A local package can be reviewed without having been written to Shopify. A verified draft has an actual store object and confirmed draft state. A published result also needs a check of the public page. None of these proves that inquiries or sales improved.

Keep this distinction in the result report. Ask where the output is saved, what was checked, what remains unresolved and who should act next. An attractive answer in the chat is insufficient when the requested deliverable was a store draft or a dated analysis report.

Where do the supporting tasks fit?

Business profiles, FAQs and writing voice give the core tasks context. Weekly actions help limit the work to a manageable set. The 404 workflow helps review supplied old URLs. Task handovers preserve results so the next session can continue from known objects and unfinished work.

The current Opsy workflow discussed here is designed for B2B inquiry stores. Treat checkout-led operations, refunds, fulfillment, advertising execution and full-site technical audits as separate needs to assess. A capability in an agency's wider toolkit is not automatically an Opsy capability.

For a concrete content example, read the existing product-draft walkthrough. The Opsy project documentation describes its current setup and scope.
